I've nev...I wish I would've been there too. I've never cooked Ethiopian food (and I'm not sure why) but do enjoy eating out. The food is just as good as the experience of sitting on the floor, admiring the menu, and being blown away by all those spices like you said. I think the hottest food I've ever eaten was an Ethiopian dish. No amount of fluid would tame the flame. It makes for washing dishes so much easier when you wipe the plate clean with the bread.
