That stock sounds fabulous, though!Amyhttp://www.acoupleinthekitchen.us/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7075592937786867531.post-60000552713894891432012-05-08T17:14:23.198-04:002012-05-08T17:14:23.198-04:00Yummy yummy yummy, I could only think of a few peo...Yummy yummy yummy, I could only think of a few people who would have feet in their midnight freezer and you're the only one on the "outside" . Who needs to buy fancy cat toys when they can punt coriander sees around all day? Sounds like you had a great week of cooking!Jamie Samonshttp://jamiesamons.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7075592937786867531.post-78588998681434384242012-05-08T10:51:58.977-04:002012-05-08T10:51:58.977-04:00I've never heard of leaf lard before so I look...I've never heard of leaf lard before so I looked it up. Your friend was very sweet to give you such a gift! Yes, I'm very jealous of that master stock. It looks amazing. And yes, it's such a disappointment when a dish doesn't live up to the amount of time it took to make it. I don't mind spending a full day in the kitchen, but that food better taste platinum if I do.

I grew up on tabbouleh. I think all of my 'ummmm, this is good,' was used up by the time I was 12. I've pretty much avoided it since being out on my own. But yours looks good and you've got it right on how it's best made; sweet and simple.

Oh yeah; I kill mint. Can't grow it to save my life. Can you believe that? The Mom Chefnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7075592937786867531.post-85171872389774149712012-05-08T10:45:57.881-04:002012-05-08T10:45:57.881-04:00I just printed the Malaysian Chicken and Rice -- I...I just printed the Malaysian Chicken and Rice -- I'm not a fan of short ribs - Jim isn't really either. I so like to make them - makes me feel fancy :-)Jenny Hartinhttp://madrantingsofamiddleclassmom.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
