P is for Parker and Potato Pancakes and Pot Roast
Ok, me again. Oh I am NOT asleep I am just resting my eyes. Give a baby a break. So, Grammy is making a big stink over what to make for dinner. Can't she get it into her noggin that mom and dad are so tired that they don't care. They aren't tired because of ME of course. They are tired because they can't stop looking at me.
There is the pot roast. Grammy has posted this recipe before. Onions and meat. Yeah, big deal.
OHMYGOD! I can't believe she did it again. Grammy grated her thumb in with the potato. Shhhh. She didn't bleed into the stuff.
Pffft. Ok, here is the potato pancake. My mom did want some of these and dad seemed to like them too.
Ok folks. Gonna go back to sleep. I promise that Grammy will stop the exploitation as soon as she goes back to New England.

Lol, nothing better than a proud Grammy! And I feel your grating pain, I sharpened my knives the other day and then not 2 minutes later sliced my finger open, because you know, I was just testing them to make sure they were super sharp.
ReplyDeleteThe photos are fantastic. Hope your thumb healed! I can't imagine it not with that perfect little face around!!
ReplyDeleteHow funny, your post title reminded me of a kids book I used to read to the girls! Parker is absolutely adorable! Pot roast sounds kinda good right now!

ReplyDeleteHey Parker, Another great job as roving reporter. Sorry about grammy's boo-boo. But I do have to say that you and grammy will miss each other when she leaves.
ReplyDeleteJanis I do hope you can visit often. You will need your Parker fix more than you know. :) And he definitely needs to be old enough to enjoy your delicious meals.
