Ok you asked for it...Chicken and Rice

IMG_4720

THERE are you happy? It is chicken. It is boring. It is what I eat most nights if it isn't fish. Now stop with the "Um, Janis... I am worried about you and how you eat" I eat well. I blog about good stuff and not boring stuff but since I have to listen to my family and friends hint around that I will soon look like Totie Fields BWHAAAA most of you are too young to know who that IS. Now you do. See? this is an educational blog as well as a cooking blog.

Yeah, so there you have it. You want the recipe? Ok, that is easy.

Read the directions on the box and have a glass of wine. Happy now? My luck the "Natural no preservative" camp people will start unfollowing this blog and will send me hate comments. Know what I say to that?

  2. Yeah, I'm also old enough. And your chicken post is hilarious. I haven't such a good laugh since I saw your snow video. When are you going to write a book?

  5. You know, after your last post about losing a follower, I lost two. I didn't even do anything and I lost two. I blame you for sending me bad karma.

Just send me those Caramel DeLites instead, ok? Hubby ate every friggen' one of ours.

  6. Totie Fields! Remember she was always on the Mike Douglas Show!
I love your blog and your writing style. I wish you lived in my neighborhood.
I have lost followers too. I was hurt at first. Then I remembered why I started the blog and I got over it. But never mind about that - how did you get your Girl Scout cookies already?

  7. Boring is what you make it. Seems like a good thing to me. Not everyday can be steretypically exciting when it comes to food.
